Optus
- To configure handset see http://optus.wds.net.au/mms and follow the steps displayed.
- If sending message fails, check that your SMSC number is correct. You can locate your SMSC using your handset guide. The SMSC or MCN (Message Centre Number) needs to be set to the number +61411990001.
Telstra
- To set up MMS capability online go to http://www.configure.telstra.com.au/. Select Customised Install and follow the steps displayed.
- Or call 125130 free from your MMS capable Telstra mobile and follow the prompts to receive settings straight to your phone. This service is not available for Telstra Prepaid Plus customers.
- To check if you have the right settings send a blank MMS free to 176MMS (176667). Telstra will then send you a Picture Message back. If you can view the Picture Message on your mobile then you are set up and ready to go.
Vodafone
- For Prepaid Cap plans, an Extras Pack must be purchased to enable premium content messages to be received.
- For other plans call Vodafone support on 1300 30 10 30, to confirm your device is MMS capable.
Virgin
- To set up MMS capability online go to http://jwa.virginmobile.com.au/vibesetup/ or send a free blank message to 141 or call 1300 555 100.
- You need to send a MMS message before being able to receive one, this can be sent free to Virgin on 0403 991 667.
- It then takes 24 hours to receive messages.
3 Mobile
- To confirm that your 3 mobile device is correctly configured go to http://care.three.com.au/ and select the “Messaging on 3” option. From this page you will then need to enter your mobile brand in “Get more from your mobile” and follow the prompts to select your device model. Then select the “Messaging” option, followed by “MMS settings” and follow the instructions displayed.
